Jacqueline has been in Darwin for two years and is studying a Bachelor of Commerce. She has secured an internship with an international bank as part of her degree.
Hello, my name is Jacqueline. I’m from Vietnam. I’ve been in Darwin in almost two years, and I love Darwin, I love everything here: People, weather, and the culture.
I’m doing Bachelor of Commerce, which is a three-year course. I’m choosing management and economics, as my specialisations. I really like this course because this is what I love about to be in business and be creative at the same time.
Studying at Charles Darwin University gives me a really great opportunity to reach a higher, and really great educational system. Lecturers here are very knowledgeable, and very helpful. I really, really love studying here.
It would be the tropical weather, very warm, and it’s very close to my hometown, which is a beach city, and I love it. The best thing is the multi-cultural society in Darwin, that’s why I chose Darwin as my destination.
I’m working at NAB, the National Australian Bank as an invocation. I just started as a student as an internship, and I’m working there and try to know more about banking.
I have the great privilege to make friends with a lot of people from international and domestic students as well. Actually knowing them is a great pleasure, because we can know more about Australia, their view, and perspective, I guess that’s a good thing.
