Kush Shah

Charles Darwin University (CDU) based in the Northern Territory to get a better understanding of the business world and to do something for the society in a mutually beneficial manner.

Darwin is exactly what I have heard from my friend and as shown on StudyNT’s website. It is a very multicultural city, and there are a lot of international students that come here to study. I speak three different languages, which is useful, as I have met friends from Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Africa, Scotland, the USA, Australia and many other countries. The people here are really relaxed and nice. They greet you with ‘How you goin’?’ and don’t really expect an answer, but it makes you feel welcome.

Since the first day I came to Australia, I have had great support from CDU for whatever I need to overcome the difficulties of being an international student, relating to my study, language enhancement or social engagement. I have a positive attitude and look forward to new adventures and exploring different tourist destinations of the NT such as Litchfield National Park, Mindil Beach Sunset Markets and Kakadu National Park during my study breaks.

I am proud to have the opportunity where I can broaden my knowledge horizon by being a part of StudyNT’s Student Ambassador program. After graduation, I intend to join an organization at a strategic level because of my vision to serve the society as a whole and also to mutually benefit the organization at the same time through awareness I gain from my studies and experiences.

From the amazing experience I have so far in Darwin, I would highly recommend the Northern Territory to those who are exploring overseas study options.
