On doing a research on the "perfect" place to study in Australia I had reached a conclusion that the definition or standard of perfection varies to each student. A perfect study environment for me would be a place with a course that develops my career, professors who inspire to innovate, a city that is multicultural which would develop my personality and a city that aids to my financial needs. Darwin, being a vibrant city attracted me as it had the aforementioned qualities that I was looking for. The city seemed small but is home to people with big hearts. I have always felt welcomed in this city.
My school friend was studying in Charles Darwin University and he gave me advice to come to Darwin. I had a set of things I needed from a university as well as from a city and Darwin had it all. A Vibrant city with amazing sunsets and amazing opportunities is what I saw at first. When I arrived in the Northern Territory I notice how welcomed I was with all smiles wherever I went. Everyone greets each other which made me feel welcomed. Soon I started enjoying the amazing sunsets and then came the dry season which makes the city a festival. The Mindil Beach Sunset Markets are just amazing and would capture me for hours. The university campus was beautiful and the professors are lovely. They are always available to help and as a student I could not ask for more. Darwin has plenty of part time jobs available which provides me with financial peace as I don’t have to depend on my parents to fund me. Darwin has provided me peace in all areas and I have been happier than I was ever before.
